The Challenge

After the successful re-launch of the atmAd website it was a compliment to our skills that we were approached by atmAd’s parent company i-design to bring our expertise to bear on their website. Much as the atmAd brief, the brand needed updating to reflect i-design's world leader status. Most importantly the site needed to reflect how well they know their marketing channel, and just how powerful the tools they have created to capitalise from it are.

The Process

The first important part of the process was to understand the way the target market differed from that of atmAd. The i-design website aims to communicate directly to banks. i-design excels in using already existing channels to generate new revenue streams via third party advertising. In response we needed to create a site that reflects the trust, quality and ability to deliver what i-design is known for. Working alongside a print designer we set about creating a consistent look and feel to be delivered on and offline.

The Construction

Our experience with atmAd formed a valuable basis for our approach and selection of technologies. It was logical to base the site on the same CMS system and to employ Flash and Javascript. This allowed us to develop the site more quickly, although rather than simply reproducing the same mechanics, we focussed on what could be improved. This led to the development of a more interactive showcase allowing the user to interact with a cash machine, clearly demonstrating this effective marketing channel.

The Result

The i-design online brand now reflects their global presence in the outdoor marketing sector. Our utilitarian approach has ensured that creativity and function not only complement each other but most importantly deliver the desired objectives providing a clear channel of communication to the banking sector.

The Future

Having completed two websites for this client, its clear that Zim Zam Zimmy (ZZZ) are trusted to deliver cost effective, professional and utilitarian solutions to briefs. With a retainer in place ZZZ and i-design can continue to work together to continuously improve and innovate the sites.
